I was looking forward to this one. Really enjoyed the Calazaghe V Kessler fight. And have seen enough of Miranda to know that when these two got in the ring, it would have made a real good matchup and an excellent fight
Maybee Kessler is holding out for more money or like some one said maybee a title fight!Comment

You look at Kessler, he looks like a savage. Then you watch the Joe Calzaghe fight, and Kessler is really just a tentative, instinct fighter. He gets love slapped by Joe, and Kessler brings his offense to a hault. He had Joe set up for some great action, and he just completely shut down.
If Kessler and Miranda did fight, and Miranda naturally had a way to deal with Kesslers accuracy and output, lol Miranda would put him in a coffin.
(I spell everyones name wrong, I hope I got Miranda's right lol.)Comment

The only logical reason is that Kessler received a better offer - even his people will realise how bad it looks dropping out of a high profile fight like this at short notice.Comment

Let's not forget, Miranda has never had a world title. He's never beaten anyone...when he fought good opponents, he lost both times.
Kessler should instead try to win one of his world titles back, or fight a bigger name like Jones, Taylor, or Wright.Comment

Mikkel Kessler is going to fight Anthony Mundine 2.
Most likely October on a Don King Promotions.

Not long ago, Miranda and co were talking trash about Kessler, and claimed that he had turned down an offer to fight them. Despite the fact that Roy Jones had said he was interested in fighting Kessler, and the fact that Winky was rumoured to be a likely next opponent, people on here not only believed what Miranda said (despite him having a history of being a big mouth who doesn't always back it up) and believed that the reason must be that Kessler was a coward.
When it became apparent that this was not the case, and that in fact the fight was going to happen, these people did not retract their statements, and apparently have not learnt a thing from their error.
This is clear based upon the fact that yet again Miranda's team are making claims, and yet again the same people are believing them and calling Kessler a coward because of them.
It may turn out that the fight is off and that Kessler has no good reason for pulling out. But there are other possible explanations, and considering that boxing promoters and fighters are not the most truthful people in the world, I think I'll wait and hear both sides' version of events before forming an opinion.Comment
