i think the fight would have done more for his rep than a rematch with mundane ever would. what about the IBF champ?? is it Bute?? maybe Kessler getting offered a shed load of cash to fight him in canada.

    more cash
    less risk
    IBF belt

      1. Usually when someone gets flamed straight away it's because what they are saying is ****ing ******ed. Consider getting flamed by lots of people an educational experience.

      2. There ya go! A ******ed generalisation with no grounds! Are you getting what you're doing wrong yet?

      3. Do you believe everything that is said by a singular source in a two-sided story? Why not wait for the full story before charging in with your dimwittedness? That way you don't look like a joke if you happen to have jumped the gun. I hope for your sake you're right by brazen luck first time.

If this is true, will Kessler have a tune up for this?

Or will he be inactive until October?

Overall, i think this will be bad for Mundine. If he loses again, where will he go? Fighting the likes of Soliman again is doing nothing for his reputation. Losing to Kessler again will likely put him into retirement.

However, beating Kessler will spell the end of Mikkel, and SMW will continue being one of the strongest divisions......with so much talent, the mouth-watering fight possibilities would be endless.

Many thanks by your "schooling", buddy I did jump the gun and I knew I was running my mouth when I wrote this that is why I said I was going to get flamed but didn't give a **** about what you or other people might think of it. So far this sounds like a cowardly move coming from Kessler, agreeing on a fight and the contract and with their own requests and then all of the sudden backing out of the deal. Of course we only know one side of the story but until that story doesn't come out to the public this is all we know. Everyone knows Miranda is a dangerous fighter, and Kessler got schooled by Joke Cal. (and I give a lot of credit to Kessler for taking that fight to begin with) so a risk of getting a second loss would pretty much sink his ass down even deeper.

I totally agree provided that Kessler is really backing out, but I just have a problem with people ranting before they have all the information. I've been guilty of it myself on other forums. It was your European comment that I have the biggest problem with though, because it just isn't true for the most part.

Kessler needs a good win and an exciting one to fuel his comeback after the Joe C fight. He's got it in Miranda so it sucks if he ain't gonna take it. This would be a damn good fight that's winnable for Kessler and could make him some coin so I don't see anyone else at SMW bein as good for him right now. Even a shot at Mundine or Bute wouldn't be as big cuz everybody knows Joe C is the 168 lb champ anyway. Kessler and Miranda should definitely scrap.

Can't afford to risk two L's back to back.

                    Pissed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish the fu**ing promoters would shut their POS mouthes until the contracts are signed, rather than get everyone exited and then let us down. This is part of the reason why boxing started to give ground on MMA. Boxing as a sport needs to avoid this happening at all costs. Especially when network advertisement is involved. Bull SH%T!!

Didn't take long for some people to jump to conclusions with out knowing the real reason behind Kessler backing out.
