What the hell you talking about. Tye Fields has fought a bunch of good heavyweights. Its not his fault his being avoided by the likes of Peter, Klitsko, and Chagaev.

One loss and they ain't getting paydays no more at least not five, six, and seven digits.

it's the rule of business these days. be a hero and a warrior and make a couple hundred, fight in an undercard and get 10k.
you lose you're back to fights in the ramada hotel making a couple hundred bucks.
and while i am at, fans are such front runners in this sport. you wouldn't do that to your pro football teams when they lose a playoff game. you keep rootin.

this attitude of a couple losses killing careers and calling the guys bums has gotta go.
i think it's messin up boxing

          flash file.
I agree with that statement about losses. Look at mma the best guys in the sport usually have a few losses. How many losses does Couture have. That's a fight game that is growing rapidly.

Right, what determines a great fighter is fighting guys that are tough and on or above their level not beating up bums, thats what sucks about boxing..the up and coming fighters has beefed up winning records but its like building a house of cards, when they step up suddenly for that big shot they get beat down while the guy with a few losses that IS actually a great fighter gets no opportunities at bigger fights and ****ty paydays.

yeah but judah was coming off a string of losses and Mosley was a perfectly timed fight. he was a fighter that was way past his prime. He had only beaten a sorry Vargas that lost to Mayorga and had a lackluster win against a guy that Hatton beat, although it was close.

I can understand you on that texanballer

Cotto has been fighting top prosepects..Quintana, Malinaggi..you see those fights? Then Mosley and Judah who is game but not the best. Mosley beat DLH and Mayweather chose to fight Oscar..and is considered the best.
Gomez is the first guy who I think is a lower level opponent for him.
