Who do you think is the most protected prospect?

After watching the Lee vs Vera fight I was thinking well it was a good fight for both guys, because they had similar records.
It was Lee's 16th fight and since Anthony Peterson was a guest on the show and 1 of the most protected fighters in my opinion I had to see who he faced for his 16th pro fight...it was Steve Verdin wo was 5-26-2 now thats what Im talking about!

Ronald Hearns has been very protected, especially for a fighter who is in his late 20's.

      Cotto.

He turned pro after the Olympics in 2000 and the best names on his resume are a softened up Judah who floyd destroyed a year earlier and a washed up 36 year old Mosley who was robbed and had Cotto doing the Oscar marathon like in the Trinidud fight.

without a doubt. Hes an accomplished Olympian so the amateur experience is there and hes still fighting complete bums. He can punch or so it seems so interested to see how he turns out.

Lotta guys protected. Hearns, Chavez jr all those dudes.
One loss and they ain't getting paydays no more at least not five, six, and seven digits.

it's the rule of business these days. be a hero and a warrior and make a couple hundred, fight in an undercard and get 10k.
you lose you're back to fights in the ramada hotel making a couple hundred bucks.
and while i am at, fans are such front runners in this sport. you wouldn't do that to your pro football teams when they lose a playoff game. you keep rootin.

this attitude of a couple losses killing careers and calling the guys bums has gotta go.
i think it's messin up boxing

                flash file.

probably Andre Berto he should be stepping up by now David Etrada is the best guy on his record ,his last fight was against some German bum who was outclassed from round 1

Nah Berto has been stepping it up. Rivera and Estrada were both good tests. He's also fighting Miguel Rodriguez in his next fight (an ex Baldomir victim)

The man really needs to work on his defense.
