Joe Calzaghe has never, ever fought the best.

That is why he is an Undisputed Champion of the World.

Yes, he's fought all the best in his weight division, except for those like Ottke who ducked him.

He wouldn't fight Liles, didn't fight Brewer when he was champ or Echols. Or Ottke. Or Froch (instead of Ashira, Bika or Manfredo).

They are hardly names he should fight.

Glen Johnson is the only fighter I can think off when I fight was on the table and Joe didn't take it for what ever reason.

Like fights with Ottke and Beyer were makeable. Maybe if he was as big as he is now. But not then. He also would have got jobbed against Ottke.

What? And Branko Sobot and Rick Thornberry were??

The WBA champion and the IBF champion? The man who stopped Charles Brewer (your supposed great win)? The WBA and IBF champion? The fight the British public wanted to see?

                  Are you for real?

Calzaghe wouldn't take any of those fights, and his promoter put in God-awful opposition instead.

He said he didn't want to fight Liles because he was a tall, tricky southpaw. He flat-out refused to fight him!

Charles Brewer says he couldn't get Joe in the ring when he was IBF champion, and Joe wouldn't leave Britain.

He flat-out refused to fight Sven Ottke in Germany.

He flat-out refused to rematch Robin Reid.

He flat-out refused to fight Carl Froch.

He even admits himself that people should concentrate on the last few years of his career because he knows he wasted 10 years being an absolute prick (who can forget "What has Jim Watt ever done?!" - uhh, a damn sight more than you had at that time you absolute *********).

..then you mention Carl Froch, the biggest joke in english limey boxing history. A 31 year old typical english fraud that has still yet to fight a top 10 ranked SMW. Sven Ottke is like Ali compared to the pathetic limey that is Froch. I want Hopkins to beat Calzaghe as an American but hope Joe wins just to disturb you english **** who hate on him cause he's Welsh.
