Hatton-Lazcano to be shown on Versus

I was about to say that Versus actually does spend a lot of money for their fights. It's just that you wouldn't know it by watching them. Arum has done a piss poor job of matchmaking for them and hopefully Versus will rattle his cage or dump him altogether.

So it sounds better fight might be coming to Versus. I'll believe it when it happens, but im trying to be optimistic.

I know people are not giving Lazcano a chance. I belive if Lazcano shows up to fight and not an old Lazcano shows up. Hatton will have to work for his win and it will be a war, either way i belive this fight will be under-rated by many boxing fans when in reality i think it will make for a great fight. Lazcano loves to fight up close, box him and you can beat Lacano easily, but fight him inside or toe to toe and you have a dog fight in your hands. These two fighters are made for each other, im sure Hatton isn't taking Lazcano lightly.

I can't remember a huge fight on Basic Cable or Network since Tyson fought on Fox, plus the fight is already a hit in the UK with over 50k in tickets sold and im sure it will be on PPV over there.

I'm not sure Lazcano at 140 has proved that he is "super" enough for this to be a "superfight" but maybe that is just me. Hell, Lazcano has had kind of a disappointing career considering how much hype there was around him.

They were always calling Mayweather to fight him when they were both at 135... clearly they overestimated what kind of success he was going to find when matched up with other elites.
