Good points Addison. If that is the case which it seems to be... wouldn't that work against him against Mayweather? Mayweather isn't open to be hit around rib area so it's hard to see how Cotto can do anything against him.

I think we saw in the Torres fight for instance that Cotto isn't a massive puncher. Torres won the exchanges upstairs every time.Comment

We've been around this territory recently..
How about; better left hook P4P - De La Hoya or Cotto?
The left hook is Cotto's best punch right?
How about; better straight/overhand right - Baldomir or Cotto?
Because Cotto landed a straight right on the button against a badly damaged Judah, and Zab wasn't nearly as rocked as he was when he was essentially fresh, and took one from Baldomir.
How about; better straight/overhand right P4P - Forrest or Cotto?
The overhand right hand from Vernon Forrest that setup the uppercut on a completely fresh Mosley, and the plethora of clean right hands right on the tip of the jaw landed by Cotto on Mosley? Which did more damage?
Generic comparisons, and there's always going to be lots of factors involved - but you get the idea.. I know.. I know.. So and so couldn't see the punch coming and yada, yada, yada..Comment

If you watch Cotto vs. Judah, and then watch Mayweather vs. Hatton, I could see why some Cotto fans think Cotto has a chance.
Floyd doesn't like to be roughed up, and if Cotto went in strictly doing the roughhousing and tearing away at any part of Floyd's body Cotto could see and target - it might be interesting. Cotto could **** up Floyd's shoulders pretty good if that's all he could hit..Comment

Thank you, that's starting to irk me. He might be the most overrated power puncher ever. He doesn't even come to mind when I think of the hardest punchers yet he's always in the discussion.Comment
