He did give out respect, he gave calzaghe mad props before calzaghe stepped in the ring against kessler.

While Floyd vs. Cotto right now will be a good Fight
(i would like too see it)
It wouldn’t be as big as Hatton and De La Hoya was
and it wouldnt be as Great as it could of been if Cotto would have gotten to 2other belts

        Floyd vs. De La Hoya
        Numbers: 2.15 P.P.V Combined

Floyd is Spoiled Now, He is not fighting in anything less than Events from now on....and his last 2 fights have been Events to not just the Boxing World but for the Sport and Entertainment world...

Look how much Promoting Floyd had to do for the Hatton FIGHT....
        "Dancing with the Stars"

Look what he is doing for the next De La Hoya Fight
        "WrestleMania"

Now what do you think he is going to have to do for the Cotto fight if he chooses to fight him right now...
        "American Idol"...???

        Sorry Cotto Fans,
Floyd is not going to do anything special for the Cotto and Arum to build this fight

Floyd is expecting Cotto and Arum to do something Special to build this fight Simply because he does not like Arum ..

And that something Special is Getting those other 2 belts..!!!

Cotto is not a Draw outside of Boxing Yet so he has no choice but to get those belts to fight Floyd or become a mainstream Attraction...And Floyd knows Cotto doesnt have a personality to become a mainstream Attraction so the only option Cotto has is to become GREAT. and get those 2 belts.!!!...

This is what I have been trying to say forever...
Cotto Stock isnt high enough to really convince Floyd and the Public that this could be a big event...

Cotto needs to raise his Stock....

        or

How about this, How about cotto fight Floyd for the same money he fought Mosely so floyd can make THe same money he made fighting Hatton...Since Cotto is not a mainstream Attraction yet outside of New York..

that would be about around a 70-30 Split....

        THREAD CLOSED..!!!

He's no different than the likes of Hoya, Calzaghe and other smart aged fighters. They are already rich and kinda perform for fans only, not haters anymore. The days of going to see Floyd and cross fingers the man loses are over, although you can never be sure about anything a fighter says cept their name is Lewis (Lennox) or other fighters who left the big game on an high.

LOL Stop acting like Floyd is 24 already. You were probably babies when Floyd was taking on Big p4p killer star, Diego "Chico" Corrales (RIP). He was 23 years old and had already defeated the ELITE. People act like Floyd needs to prove himself in the WW division too. He did that in his own division (lightweight) and hell, he has been a champion for his ****ing whole career. Give him a break.
