I don't see Jones-Tarver 4, I mean, Tarver already beat him 3 times (yes..3!)..
Roy Jones Jr Wants Tarver-Woods Winner

Be careful what you wish for.
Does Roy really believe that tedious win over an over matched Felix Trinidad meant anything? And he barely won that fight. Roy used to be the elite fighter of his time but he has let his ego get the best of him. That's a dangerous thing for anyone but especially a fighter. Doesn't he know that everyone is on to him? He is no longer the invincible slickster he used to be. Now he is now a vulnerable fighter with a suspect chin. Tarver exposed that vulnerability and Johnson capitalized on it.
If Roy wants to get back to the fighter he once was, (*which by the way I don't think is possible, but what the hell, he can try),he has to get back to doing an honest days work in the gym and in the ring. He's got to fight a few fringe guys to get back his rhythm and his timing. Then after 4 or 5 of these fights at regular intervals then I would say he is ready for some top tier guys like Tarver and Woods. I think right now either of them would make silly putty out of Roy. Tarver has done it before, does anyone sensible really want to see him do it again?Comment

what makes u think Tarver is a Top tier guy? he looked bad in pretty much all his fights after Jones 2. If Jones can get over the 2nd fight he would destroy Tarver, we saw moments in the 3rd fight where Jones looked good especially in round 5 where he almost KOed Tarver but he backed away, why? because that Knockout from the 2nd fight is in his head, if he can get that outta the way he beats Tarver and anyone in the LHW Division.Does Roy really believe that tedious win over an over matched Felix Trinidad meant anything? I was saying a while back that Jones should fight Woods, he already beat him so he's a good measuring stick, and he's also the IBF Light Heavyweight Champion, getting that belt would give him something to hang his hat on, he can be a legit Light Heavyweight Champion again and use that to sell another fight.
Of course I was saying that a while back, I don't know if it's still a great idea.Comment
