Why would Roy want to fight Calzaghe if he wins? The odds are stacked too against him in that one. He has a better shot at beating Woods if he gets past Tarver. Which think he will. Tarver is on the decline.

Because he has openly stated he wanted the fight, it would be a very good fight financially and win or lose, if he gives a good showing, it'd be a good last fight.

How about RJJ step up and fight Dawson or Kessler. Im prolly the only one but Chris Byrd is moving down to 175, I would like to to RJJ-Byrd. Way better then him fighting that bum from Germany or Woods AGAIN.

Thats a huge task. Calzaghe not only has more left in the tank than Roy, but he is also younger with far better stamina so even if he wasn't able to stop Roy, he would get by on his work rate itself. Hanshaw and Trinidad both were able to put rounds in the bank by simply throwing punches even when they were not landing. Roy would be better of facing Woods if he gets past Tarver. Thats probably the easiest title that he could get right now.

Roy probably knows Johnson won't win. He will beat on Woods but when? Before or after Beyer? What about Calzaghe who fights only a week later?
