Roy Jones Jr Wants Tarver-Woods Winner

Roy Jones Jr. is taking aim at the April 12 light heavyweight unification bout between IBO champ Antonio Tarver and IBF champ Clinton Woods. Speaking with The Telegraph, Jones said that a rematch with Woods was the preference. Jones holds a 2002 knockout win over Woods, and fought Tarver three-times, winning the first encounter by decision and losing the next two. [details]

I prefer to see Jones-Tarver 4 over Jones-Woods 2, but I Woods is going to win the fight. The best fight for Jones is Calzaghe if he gets by Hopkins.

That's a good idea, but I don't think Johnson will beat Dawson but if he does, a Jones-Johnson 2 fight interests me.

Why would Roy want to fight Calzaghe if he wins? The odds are stacked too against him in that one. He has a better shot at beating Woods if he gets past Tarver. Which think he will. Tarver is on the decline.

How about RJJ step up and fight Dawson or Kessler. Im prolly the only one but Chris Byrd is moving down to 175, I would like to to RJJ-Byrd. Way better then him fighting that bum from Germany or Woods AGAIN.

Cuz if he could somehow someway... regain the SMW title, having once held a HW title... it would just add a ridiculous ending to his legacy...

win lose or draw... its worth takin the chance..
