Manny is easily a great one, in the LaBarba/McLarnin/Harada mold. He could go past that, but that's about where he is right now. Three lineal world titles (12, 26, 30), an alphabelt reign at 22...and 30 is the only division where he didn't hit the peak by KO. Bad ass.

I think that pacquaio may be an all time great. although not due to the fact that he is a multiple weight champion. There are so many weight classes these days that an increase of 12lbs can see you become a 4 weight world champion, which is ridiculous. e.g Bantamweight to super bantam to feather and finally to super feather only equates to a measley weight increase of 12lbs.

A more accurate argument for pacquaio being an all time great can be formed around the fact that he has beaten the like's of Morales, Barrera, Marquez and oscar Larios (most of them twice for good measure)

Who the hell says flyweight is the same as junior featherweight?

              Flyweight is 112 lbs.
Junior featherweight/super bantamweight is 122 lbs.

              That's a 10 pound, 3 weight class difference.

The reason people say super feather is the same as junior lightweight is because they are both 130 lbs.

He makes a case for being an ATG because of his accomplishments. Isn't Pacquiao a 3 division linear champion but at Super Bantamweight he was a titlist?

He's definitely an ATG,beating top 3 Mexican Future HOF and capturing legitimate world titles from 3 weight divisions:
                  WBC Flyweight World Champion
                  IBF Superbantamweight World Champion
                  The Ring Featherweight World Champion
                  The Ring Jr.Lightweight World Champion
                  WBC Jr.Lightweight World Champion

2 wins over the 3 mexican greats each, beat nedal hussein and KOd ledwaba, has a fight with david diaz another solid fighter as well as a part of the lightwieght crown, has some scattered B level fighters on his record as well, if he isnt there now, he is certainly on his way
