I think he is an A.T.G. as well! Win, lose, or draw he's moved up in weight classes taking on the best opposition available & he captured titles in 3 (could be 4 at lightweight) different divisions; That speaks volumes! Throw in the fact that he already has K.O. victories over 2 hall of famers in Barerra & Morales... I think that's enough for a 1st ballot hall of fame entry & to be considered an A.T.G.

yeh u cud make the case that hes only a 3 division champ because people jus say junior light is same as super feather and flyweight is same as junior feather :/ iwas jus counting the different aphabet belts hes won and he has done it at quite a few wieght classes

Pacquiao is only 29 years old.. He still has few years left where he can make history this year.. I think after he beats Diaz, most likely he will face Campbell and knock him out and become the Undisputed Lightweight champion of the world!

While i agree with you in that he is an a.t.g. in his own right...Spinks has a victory over muhammad ali...does that mean he should be considered an all time great as well??

Now he will win a belt as a lightwieght then he will defo become the best pound 4 pound fighter in the world but thats if mayweather doesnt fight cotto and if pac wins of course.
Not really. Manny will lose in lightweight because he will be the smaller boxer everytime. I don't think people realize how good Mayweather really is. He's so good he could be fighting ****ing WWE stars for all his remaining career and people would still be wow that's some sick skill and p4p number one. I also like Manny Pacquiao but he disapointed me vs Marquez. Marquez was a better boxer that night and Manny boxed for ****. Rouch really really sucks as a trainer and all of his fighters boxes for ****. Manny on that night also boxed for **** and was taking alot of hits with poor footwork and not sufficient body movement. P4P fighters don't get hit that much. IMO Hatton takes Manny away.

That's not my argument; saying he beat a (somewhat) past his best Morales & Barerra does not make him an ATG alone! That's like saying Grover Wiley is an ATG because he beat J.C. Chavez! Like I said he's moving up in weight & fighting (& ko'ing) some of the best opposition out there, picking up trinket after trinket... A LOT of boxing experts consider Spinks an All-Time Great!

Pacman is easily an ATG already.

IF JMM happens to clean out the featherweights even if he doesnt rematch pacman he will be an ATG as well.

If jmm beats guzman and Valero he becomes his own legend.

Pac is making a case for himself as an atg. i personally put him there already, but with another huge win or 2 he should be able to end any questions.
