dude, he was knocked out, and although his head bouncing off the canvas wasn't good and didn't help jones any, he fell like an ironing board, and the only way you fall like that is if you get ko'd.

it was a double impact, fist to the temple and head bouncing off the canvas. which one happened first????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!

answer: the fist landed before the head hit the canvas.................he was sleeping on his way down, had he not been separated from his senses he would've caught himself or went down in a completely different way, not flat out on his back with his head leading the way, DUH?!?!

Roy wasnt sleeping on the way down he got hit had his legs forward more and curled his body up trying to cover up from being stunned then got pushed over and slam his head bounces off the canvas.

I'm going to be controversial here: Roy was hurt, he knew he wasn't winning, he fell from a punch, landed heavily and decided "**** it, I just want to get paid".

Those canvases are designed to ridiculously absorb shock. It's like a wrestling ring, the same wrestling ring used to throw around 300lb men.

He was definitely out before he hit the canvas. Hitting your head against a surface like that (which again absorbs most of the shock), does not make you convulse like that.

It doesn't help though. When I knocked a guy out at the gym he fell like a sack of **** (much faster than Roy does in this vid) but he didn't twitch until he hit the deck.
