Now when I say, complete, I mean a complete OFFENSIVE fighter. Manny may be the most complete offensive fighter of this era. That's what people will talk about in years after he retires.
Manny is nowhere near a complete offensive fighter. I would like to know how you came up with that conclusion. I just don't see it. I think people will talk more about Manny's power more than anything.

i do see the samething, pacquiao is good but not great,
his style was good when he was off balanced well he stilll is but what i mean is un-predictable, now you can study pacquiao and actually beat him and outwork him because he is too technical, freddy is doing a good job and so is pacquiao keeping up

I have to disagree pacman is a Great Fighter he is not a technical fighter but just cause your technical doesnt meant your not a Great.

erik, marco and pacman will all go down as greats years from now.

I think they just need manny to be manny the same guy who demolished hector velasquez he was aggressive but a bit controlled and he looked comfortable.

its like roach is trying to make many something he is not and thats got a big mental challenge for manny he doesnt feel comfortable it seems with his new style.
It might seem like he is thinking too much because it is still new to him. That is what long hours of practice and drills are for though. To turn something you have to think about into muscle memory. That way..should it come up in an actual bout you dont have to think about it anymore..you just react. If Pacquiao seems off i dont think it is roach to blame but rather Pacquiao just has to put in the time and dedication to undo his natural instincts and let the technique become 2nd nature. That is probably why they chose the diaz fight. As a relatively low risk testing ground for the new arsenal roach has tried to build for Pac and whether or not he has acclimated himself to the point where it's reactionary and doesnt have to think about it anymore. If that's the case then perhaps they can proceed to a 3rd marquez fight feeling very confident. Even if Pac wins against diaz but Roach isnt satisfied with the performance they might have to go back to the drawing board..or crack the whip a little harder on manny during training. But that is definitely not a bad thing. Marco Antonio Barerra began his career brawling and cracking heads the way Pacquiao did but over time unleashed a boxer arsenal his fans may not have agreed with at first...but when Barerra began dominating matches by boxing just as much as brawling was when he transcended into greatness. I think Roach is attempting to do the same with Pacquiao but they are only "halfway home" as they say.
