Both were world champions and both were predicted by many people to win. Both were at their best, unlike the 3 Mexicans.
The Lacy win is equivalent to the Ledwaba win. And Manny was a last minute replacement, not just a big underdog.
I already addressed that in my last post. Hopkins and RJJ are legends, but if Joe beat them both you'd say it wasn't as impressive as beating them when they were at their peak. And you'd be right, just like those who say the same about some of Pac's wins.
Hopkins is comparable to the 07 Barrera. Older fighter getting by on his boxing skill, but is physically on his way down.
03 Barrera was still elite. 03 Marquez was probably him at his prime. Morales I wont argue, I firmly believe he was shot to pieces in the third fight.
