Im not a fan of Pavlik, but I rememeber people saying and even Greg Leon saying he wouldnt be against Pavlik taking an easy fight, he said that if Im not mistaken before the second Taylor fight, Pavlik having fought tough fights all last year, now he is lobbying for Winky, funny how people change.

Yeh and hes past it aswell. No way can a 36 year old be out of the ring for a year and beat Pavlik. Especially Winky. I think hes done. Whoever fights him next will get lucky, hes now past it.

Winky needs to get a win before he fights for the linear Middleweight title. I like Winky even though most of his fights can be very boring, he is an incredibly skilled fighter who Pavlik should fight if Winky gets a damn victory. Wright should be fighting someone like Sturm on the undercard of Pavlik/Abraham. That is the fight the division needs, then IF Wright is still a victorious middleweight, then he could fight the winner.

Even though i dont think Winky deserves an immediate shot at Pavlik, he is still a big name that would look good on Pavliks resume. Its the biggest mainstream fight that Pavlik can take at the moment. It is the old **** ARUM that is stopping this from happening. I HIGHLY doubt that Pavlik is scared of Winky "i'll jab u to death" Wright.

Im the type of fan that doesn't need a fight to be a slug fest for me to enjoy it, I like to watch all types of boxing styles and i really get into fights that all my friends consider boring (I consider them technical fights), with that said, Winky Wright bores the crap out of me. I Would not pay more than $30 for this fight, and i damn sure would not pay $70.
