Hary Greb might be the best and you left him out. Robinson was a good middleweight, but not as great as he was at 147. LaMotta was a tough guy but not a great fighter

I would say Hagler is the best of all time

    1 Hagler
    2 Greb
    3 Hopkins
    4 Monzon

Ask me next week and the order might change

He said it was from a local paper.
To be honest, I don't think Hopkins belongs on that list.

Oh I didn't even see the Local Paper remark, sorry bout that.

If you dont think Hopkins belongs on that list you should just stop watching boxing right now.

I dont care what kind of competion a guy has fought do you have any idea how rare it is for a fighter to flat out dominate a division for 10 years and make 19 defenses of your belts. He's captured all 3 major belts plus the WBO during his 10 years on top meaning he has fought the other champions on his division during that time.

Funny how no one was talking about Tito being a blown up welterweight when he was giving William Joppy one of the most spectacular ass whoopins ever caught on film.

Hopkins hasn't had any good competition.
Well outside of RJJ and DLH.
Plus everyone has a belt these days.
See why I don't think he should be on that list?

Ps: "Tito" has always been a *****.

Hopkins has fought very solid competion during his 10 years. The two other top middleweights during his era were William Jopy and Kieth Holmes and he beat both easily.

He ruined Echols. People forget going into his fight with Hopkins Echols was the one of the hottest guys in boxing and Hopkins gave with two wicked beatings and Echols aint been the same since.

Glenn Coffe Johnson who went on to be a IBF champ at 175

Plus Tito the #1 p4p fighter in the world at the time. DLH boxings biggest superstar

He most likely will fight a guy like Sturm sometime in the nesxt few months

Like I said very solid competion.

He fought Joppy after Trinidad did.
Everyone talks about how Trinidad ****ed up Joppy.
So why even bother mentioning Hopkins/Joppy?
              Hopkins got Trinidad's left overs.

Also, had DLH not rested the last few rounds he would have won his match with Trinidad.
So it wasn't like Hopkins was going against the "best".
The only people he has beaten that were worth a damn are RJJ and DLH.
The rest of his time he's fought people who were basically nobodies or the leftovers of other boxers.

                  I mean really now

If you cant appricate Bernard Hopkins then you can you appricate.

The man has done everything that has been asked of him and still some just shamelessy hate on him.

I mentioned Joppy because Joppy was one of the two best middelweuights during Hopkins reign.

Tell me why you think he should be listed among the top 5 greatest middleweights.
Joppy wasn't the same after Trinidad.
                    So that shouldn't count.

Anyone can "dominate" if you give them nothing but ****ty opponents.
