"Marquez asked Pacquiao asked for a rematch...and Pacman immediately said no"

This fight needs to happen again, its the only fight that really matters and when a guy is robbed, maybe thats an extremem word but he was the champion and im one that feels a champion must be beaten clearly and Marquez clearly was not. It looks like Pac wants no part of it though, Marquez even said is willing to fight at 135 or 140 if he has to. read the whole article at fight news. com

Golden Boy Promotions, CEO Richard Schaefer and Top Rank president, Bob Arum got into a highly volatile debate at last night’s post fight press conference.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Schaefer: “I find it hard to believe that a judge was changed in the week leading up to the fight. That same judge scored the fight 114-113 for Pacquiao. There is no fight fan in the world that doesn’t want to see this again. We can all agree that there was controversy.”
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Arum: “As a promoter it would be silly to do an immediate rematch after another just happened. It does not allow you to maximize the revenue. You have to let the cake bake in the oven before it is ready to be served.”
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Arum: “I don’t feel comfortable for the title to be given out by a magazine, especially if I don’t have a part of ownership of the magazine.”
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Schaefer: ““Obviously Bob Arum is a more experienced promoter than I am so I am willing to buy out Pacquiao for six million dollars right now because this is the fight that the fans want. Coincidentally Marquez asked Pacquiao asked for a rematch inside the ring and Pacman immediately said no.”

Perhaps Pacman shouldnt fight MMA again. He hasnt that much longer in the sport and other fish to fry.
Hes got the edge over MMA and dont want to give him anothe opportunity while he has just one in the bank.

... i've said it before and i will say it again...it was a close fight that could've gone either way. packy won by the virtue of the kd in rd 3 and there's no way it was a robbery.

you sore losers better deal with it now. packy is killing to make 130 now and he said he wants to move up north at 135.

as the pacman said "the business is over!". he should have said "game over!"..must have been perfect!'

losers really sound pathetic. just ask arum.

pac is heading up at 135th street to see whats the going over there hopefully JMM/GBP will be upped there too to have another rematch maybe(if he'll be champion again at that level). Too bad marquez has the tools but wasn't close enough. Pac handed his butt to the canvas 4 times(or 5) already and thinks it over at 130.

I scored the fight to Marquez by a point, didn't feel that the rounds were tough to call either. I cant help but wonder how one judge got it 115-112 to Pacqiou!

All the sore losers are saying Pacquiao lost and such, they should look at both sides of the fence. If Marquez was so much better than Pacquiao why didn't HE KO Pacquiao and prove he's the best, it goes both ways, I think the judges did fine.
