You obviously dont have to win by KO to prove you are better than someone in a boxing match!

It seems that more people feel Marquez won than Pacqiou and not just TV viewers like ourselves, but also ringside commentators and one judge....by three rounds!

As I said I felt Marquez won by one round, not a dominant showing but certainly, in my eyes fought well enough to more than hold onto his titles.

I dont think anyone is being a sore loser. Marquez was the champion, forced the fight, landed more, and somehow his belt was taken. I guess considering a match up with Diaz was already made, it makes sense, but when everybody is questioning if Pac really won the fight and his response to an immediate rematch, when questioned by the other fighter himself, is "No", i think it shows who the true champion is.

"Forced the fight"? I don't know about that, I thought it was Pacquiao making the fight with his aggression. To call a fight a robbery is to state that there was clearly no way one could make an argument for the judges' verdict. In this case, that is very extreme.

Someone turning down a rematch isn't a concession of defeat. It's obvious that Pacquiao cannot make 130 pounds anymore and will have to go up to 135. He has a signed contract with David Diaz and a tentative deal with Ricky Hatton, so I can see how a fight with Marquez would be a detour under the circumstances. If JMM wants a rematch, what he should do is move to 135, become Pacquiao's mandatory at 135 and follow procedure as a top contender.

If JMM is upset that the judges didn't see him as the victor, perhaps he should feel just as upset that he didn't do a little more to insure a victory.

sore losers these jmm fans. assuming there's a 3rd very close rematch, and pac got the SD again, are you going to ask for a 4th? personally a rematch is gonna go down the same path, jmm will show good skills but will taste canvass again at least once.

UNLESS JMM BRINGS THE FIGHT TO PAC, THEN HE MIGHT HAVE A CHANCE WITH THE JUDGES. But he's contented w/ counter punching. in his mab fight, he was more aggressive and he got the nod.

get over it. it was a close fight, no robbery. the KD gave pac the edge.

Arum: “As a promoter it would be silly to do an immediate rematch after another just happened. It does not allow you to maximize the revenue. You have to let the cake bake in the oven before it is ready to be served.”
But I thought Mayweather was ducking Cotto. ****ing hypocrite.

                      K lol what a ****ing *****.

He knows he'd have an equally tough time sliding by on the judges ballhugging. They see him put his hands in the air after taking a flush combo in an exchange and they score the round 10-7 for Pac.
