Who the **** has been begging for a Witter fight for 8 years. That is pure lies and you know it. Until very recently people didnt give a ****, apart from the few who wanted to see hatton beat the tar outa Witter (I think Witter beats Hatton by ko). Get some perspective mate. You are a twat if you are telling me you dont respect Hatton because he hasnt taken a fight with Witter YET. Wise up.

There is a way for you to come across with credible points without exposing yourself as a complete fool/tool, Read all my previous post not once did i say Hatton should fight Witter straight after Mayweather, We the british public want the fight expect for idiots like you (Hatton ****riders who i dont class as fans anyway), Hatton has come out and said Witter isnt in his plan which mean NO matter what Witter does Hatton would alway have an excuse to Duck the fight, Hatton has the power(Media) and fan base to avoid this fight for ever. I dont care what Hatton cumdrinkers like you says I have Zero respect for Hatton until he takes the Witter fight(Win or lose).

Thank you, This is what am saying but some idiot think am discrediting Hatton because i said i wouldnt respect him until he takes the Witter fight, Haye just gave us what we want but there is too many idiot who call themselves Boxing fan but in actual fact are Hatton fanatic who are preventing this fight from happening.

All this Hatton needs an easy fight because Floyd whipped his ass is bull**** ,, it was wasnt a beat down and brutal KO , it was a frustrating soft KO loss , he was as much tired as knocked down , it was a soft KO with only pride hurt , Kessler had a tougher time physically with JC then had surgery and looks like first up Miranda ,,, Lazcano , ***ing Lazcano ,,, thats right confidence builder , bull**** , nothing wrong with Rickys confidence as a fighter at all , cherry picking is what it is and cherry picking makes money loosing dont , thats why he is fighting Lazcano and not Witter .

Hatton turned down 1 million dollars (which is probably more than Witturd made in his whole career) by having the fight at a proper time in the UK. HBO wanted to show the fight in prime time for the yanks and was willing to give Ricky 1 million on top of what he's going to make to do so and Hatton said no, because he wants kids to be able to come to the fight which they would not be able to if he was fighting at 3 in the morning. This is a tune-up fight and a thank you to his loyal fans which will most likely be his last in the UK with Hatton's three fight deal with HBO starting after Lazcano, with a unification bout with Malinaggi at MSG this year.

Then Hatton is most likely going to go after a rematch with Floyd or a fight Pacman should they both win. Witters best bet to get a fight with Hatton is to get another belt from Torres or Rees. With both Hatton and Witter fighting for DLH the fight will no doubt happen in 2009 should both fighters not lose before.

Yeah thats a real thank you to his fans PPV, people just take in any rubbish hatton spit out. He isnt losing any money and the fight isnt for his fans..he cameback to fight in the UK to get a win under his belt just like Naz did after he lost to barrera.

Yep Ricky turned down a million so his fans could come along ,, Witter is too much of a risk thats the bottom line , if Hatton is to get another crack at Floyd he must be unbeaten , put it this way he gets Floyd again quicker if he were to beat Witter rather than Lazcano so what does that say , thats right Lazcano the lamb to slaughter who costs probably 30 grand , is for his fans .

Even though its only a tune up fight i expected a better choice of opponent. This should not be a box office fight.

My take on the Witter v Hatton story is
that when Frank Warren was in charge of Hatton he was making good money filling out arena's blowing away easy opponents with not much risk, so along comes Witter who is a high risk low reward fight at the time.

I think Hatton would have got past him but im not sure Warren wanted to take the risk. Hatton demanded a fight with KT and he has never looked back since.

So i think prior to the KT fight warren was avoiding the fight to secure his easy paydays in taking a high risk low reward opponent
After the KT fight a match against Witter would have been a backwards step.

But after the Floyd loss and Witter being a beltholder in the division he has gone down to, there would no reason for Hatton to aim for any fight other than this as a priority, there is no bigger fight for him at this weight.

                No excuses now im affraid

They didn't even show my fight against Cesar Soto at the Latchmere Leisure Centre on PPV.

I have no problem with this fight. Keep in mind that Hatton has been knocked out in his last fight so he needs these confidence builders. Getting your first lost can be hard (and especially by knockout), you start to doubt yourself. Lazcano is still a good fighter and good enough to answers questions about where Hatton is mentally after the loss. It should be a decent fight and i don't mind watching it.

When Hatton is back at 100%, then he can go and fight a Junior Witter or a Pauli Mallinaggi. But until then, he has to bulid himself some confidence.
