Hopkins-Calzaghe- Will there be a knockout?

Ive seen alot of posts going both ways claining there will be a bhop knockout or a cal knockout..I think it will definately be a decision probably going towards calzaghe. Just wanted to see what you guys think.. Will it go to decision or will there be a ko??

I just posted in another thread, where Secondzout predicted a Hopkins KO:

Hopkins can't KO Joe. Both guys have chins at least 9/10. There are three ways it could end early:

1. Hopkins head butt causes a techincal stoppage and it goes to cards.
2. Hopkins get in too deep and gets DQ'd as an escape route
3. Joe lands a thirty-punch combination and the ref steps in with Hop still on his feet taking it like a man.


But actual KO's are not a possibility here

There might be some mini brawls here and there, but I think both will be a little too careful and BHop will land the cleaner shots.

when was the last time either of these guys got a legit KO? Take away the terrible Manfredo stoppage for Calz and the ko's over ex welter's for Hopkins and they have not had any KO's in at leat 2 years. This will be a boring UD for Calzaghe.

Obviously a KO is never impossible but this has UD written all over it

I picked decision, but when a knockout seems as unlikely as it seems in this fight. I imagine the probability of it occurring increases. Since both guys will be soo focused on a decision, i wouldn't be completely surprised if both we're slightly more susceptible to getting kayoed. With that said i'd put 100 bucks out of my pocket right now just to see Calzaghe get kayoed.

I don't envisage a stoppage, although i wouldn't rule out a DQ for butts or low blows - Hopkins was afterall in prison.
