250k buys is a good number especially for featherweight.

The problem is, besides diehard boxing fans, Mexicans, and Pinoy's, i dont see many casual fans buying this fight. Its a shame because this is going to be a WAR! These warriors will get overlooked, while guys like Floyd and Oscar will get paid 8 figures each for another glorified sparring session.

              Exactly!

no Black americans are ordering this fight, the only non pinoy and non mexicans who are ordering this are diehard White boxing fans.

Most of my black friends(I am black) they only care for Black fighters only a handful of die hard black boxing fans order a ppv without a black fighter.

so you already lost 100k there.

I say it makes 300,000 buys at least based on Pac alone. Plus even though JMM may not be the huge stars that Morales and Barrera are, i bet a lot of mexican fans will buy the fight becuase they are fight fans and plus to root for JMM. I've been tight on money so I've not bought a PPV yet this year, but this is the one I was saving up for, I can't wait.

please.. there would be a hundred red necks and it would look like something off King of the Hill.. MMA is garbage. That's why an MMA artist got whopped by a boxer in Elite XC last card and they hold Kimbo as a main event!

well look at it this way a big chunk of the ppv is gonna be cut, because Many Blacks don't order ppv with a non black fighter as the main event.

they have to have a black fighter on the main card for them to order, and that alone will take a big chunk out of the ppv buys.

my family likes pacquiao but they are from jamaica not american black.

The White boxing fans tend to order a ppv regardless of the ethnicity of a fighter thats what I notice.

its a shame thats how it is today in boxing and thats why UFC makes so much money they pay for the fights.
