nah, a guy of diaz's caliber doesn't get beat mentally, just physically.

not passing the state bar - now THAT beats you mentally.

Tough loss for Diaz. I truly didn't believe that Campbell will be the one to beat him. Well, Congratulations to Nate.

Juan will bounce back from this loss. He's still young and he has talent. Hopefully this setback will inspire him to work harder.

I think Nate also beat Juan mentally. Before the fight Nate stated these:

        - Juan not a demi-god
        - Juan not the best lightweight in the world
        - that Juan will go through hell
        - that he will beat Juan's body

        During the fight:

        - Nate trash talk to Juan at the end of almost every round
        - Nate charged to the center of the ring when Juan still in his stool
        - Nate outpunching Juan in all rounds
        - Nate gave Juan a dose of his own medicine

After the fight, it seems that everything Nate claimed were true and what he predicted did come true. I think all of these affects Juan mentally bigtime.

Nate Campbell broke down Juan Diaz physically and mentally. Campbell exposed Diaz?

Exposed Diaz for what? not a real champion? it was one lose, if a lose means u got exposed then cambell has been exposed 5 times as many as diaz has. it's a lose that all real champions who fight whoever you put in front of them go through. now if you wanna pick and chose your aponents like mayweather, then yeah you might go undefeated.

Not that. Nate exposed Diaz by exposing the blueprint on how to beat Diaz. Beat Diaz in his own game. Give Diaz a dose of his own medicine.

For the mental beating Juan got, here's another one.

How would you feel if you lose all your prized possessions in just one fight?

I can see what you mean but i dont think so. Casamayor said the hardest he ever got hit was in his fight with cambell. Other boxers can see what cambell did and try to do it, but i think 33 out of 34 times juan is going to win that battle.

                      Possible.

Now how would you feel if your current promoter dumps you (tho this is already a given), lose a fight, and might lose a potential megabuck contract with another new promoter?
