Yeah, but this was the talk before the fight. He wanted to beat Campbell, and then Pac and go down as one of the greatest Mexican champions ever. Now I dont know whats going to happen. I should have know this was gonna happen. In 20/20 hind sight I said this in this thread.

But I discarded it as he didnt want to go all out because it was sparring. But I guess I was wrong. And it hurts for me to say that Juan lost. I had a get together of about 10 or 12 people at my house last night, and I was just in a daze. Only way i can feel worse is if Floyd lost. I never wanted Juan to lose, now I dont want to see Floyd lose. If it bothered be that much with Juan losing, it would be worse to see Floyd. My favorite fighters are 1.- Floyd 1.A.- Juan. It felt the same way as when I saw Chavez lose to Frankie Randall. He was my child hood super hero.

I was thinking maybe people were over reacting after that one loss, but it does seem he want's to concentrate on school. So if that's the case he should get school out of the way and take time off of boxing. Then once he's done with school and if the burning passion to box is still there he can come back. He is still pretty young.

By the time he gets out of school he will be damn near 30. But if Juan is the Juan I know, he will fight again in a rematch and go all out win and still go down as an all time great Mexican champ. If you saw the fire in his eyes and how pissed he was when Julio Diaz talked ****, he would be more pissed about this and come back and beat the **** out of him. I just didnt see that fire this time around, even in the gym.

One of the guys that I train that goes to Savannah's Boxing Gym here in Houston is telling me that Juan might retire. Before the fight even happened there was talk that he was gonna beat Campbell, then go for Pacman and after that retire on top as an all time great champion. .

Even if he did beat Pacman and retire he wouldn't have went down as an all-time great. But I'm glad he got his ass kicked, he and his team thought that he was just gonna breeze through his opponents all while going to school....like it' nothing.

Well, I dont know but i used to know one of his girls and she wasnt half bad. And some dudes from the gym chill with him and told me he gets some hoes. Now he is not a big time player will tons of bitches, but he gots some hoes. And to the other guy, Holfields trains at the gym also, and talks to Juan all of the time, so I think Juan kind od looks at him as the example of what he doesnt want to end up like. A great champ that is way past his prime with nothing left that still is living in the past.
