Diaz was not robbed on the scrorecards i felt he was robbed in the sense he was getting butted and getting hit on the breaks, but thats over now. I think in a rematch assuming Campbell fights like a professional you all will see Juan Diaz fight like normal. Campbell did fight the fight he needed to in order to win the fight so i cannot knock him on that. Anyways if cuts dont play a role look at Pacquiao-Morales 1, Manny was cut open and bleeding like a pig, what happened the next two fight when he was not cut?Comment

both were fighting inside man.. there was nothin intentional or too hard.. be happy a point was taken away for no reason.. the only butt was a accidental one in 1st round.. either way.. campbell surpassed all odds and won.Diaz was not robbed on the scrorecards i felt he was robbed in the sense he was getting butted and getting hit on the breaks, but thats over now. im not taking that away from him at all. He did what he had to do, he deserves being champion. I think there should be a rematch if possible. I dont think Diaz will have major problems with other Lightweight, campbell he needs to avengeComment

I thought Campbell was going to get robbed for a second, after they read the first judges scorecard. I'm a huge Diaz fan, but I didn't want to see him get a gift decision like that. Props to Diaz for fighting the last half of the fight with one eye completely shut and not quitting on his stool like his corner wanted him too.Comment

good post!anyway, cong**** to Nate Campbell. I've stated in many Diaz/Campbell fights that Campbell was one not to be overlooked especially in this situation where desperation can bring out the best in a fighter. This was Nate's last chance at being known for more than someone who just couldnt break the surface and he fought like it. He bruised, battered and broke Juan down the way only a veteran fighter who knows the game could.
As for Juan, well, Nate presented a challenge which Juan had never experienced. He was doing great for the first 4 rounds, but it was pretty obvious that he was getting frustrated with Campbell's refusal to back down and submit to the Baby Bull's bullying. He also didn't know how to handle an injury such as the swollen eye and cut. Why would you continue to wrestle headfirst and agitate the injury? Especially rubbing heads with the injured sides? Other things also affecting Juan was his Cutman. WTF was dude doing? He was practically punching Juan with the metal and didn't seem to use the appropriate solution for Juan's cuts or any kind of jelly to stop the bleeding.
I'm a big Diaz fan and will continue to support Juan through out his career. I still feel that he is capable learning from this experience and will be making adjustments. So much that if a rematch occurs, I still would pick Diaz. Even though I would have liked to have seen Nate win a more cleaner, less dirtier fight where his fist did all the work, its good to see someone who has been struggling come out on top. Now the question is, will Nate take advantage of this huge victory? Or will he choke and be the designer of his own demise?Comment
