Also if he only fights 2 times a year he should be able to do both? He can schedule the fights around school. Hes been doing well untill now.
Well in his own words, he said that sometimes his head hurts from getting hit in sparring that he can barely get himself to study. Isn't that a problem? Forcing yourself to do both even though you clearly said it's difficult to do both. It was fine while he was winning but he just lost.

    It's time for adjustments.

Fine but now it's reality check, he just got beaten in his backyard in his own game. Nate Campbell did not outbox him, he beat at his own game.

Either he focuses on boxing or he focuses on lawschool......he clearly is not that special to do both for the next 4 years.
You may be right in the end, but for me it's hard for me to make that kind of assumption when I don't know the guy personally or closely know his situation. To me it seems like a over reaction after one loss, especially against a fighter the caliber of Nate Campbell.

Definitely. Nobody is saying that Juan Diaz is done now but he needs to change up his daily routine. Something went wrong tonight and it wasn't like Campbell was this great fighter that he cannot beat.

If he wants the rematch, he needs to put aside everything, get into a remote training camp so he can focus on the fight a 100%. Maybe his stamina wasn't even as good as most thought tonight. He could have skipped training days because he was too tired doing both, nobody knows. It was alright as long as he was winning but he just lost in his own game. Time to make changes.
