It's hard being a professional prize fighter as it is, you don't need distractions like going to law school (which is hard on it's own) while trying to compete with the best in boxing.

And that's why I'm glad he got beaten. Even though he might be smart kid capable of being a Mayor of Houston in the future he isn't special enough to do both at the same time
      .
See this is what I don't get. It was one loss and now people are saying he needs to pick one or the other. Some fighter their lives are boxing, while others have different interests outside of the sport. It just doesn't make sense for me, before when he was undefeated there was no problems with him doing both, now he has one loss people are saying he should choose between one or the other.

He is educated. He is far above that barely graduatin from high school people but far below those A + students who are qualified to go to any college in the country.

Boxing is a mental sport and he is not that intelligent and mentally strong to do both boxing and law school/studying every day. Sounds nice and positive but it's just not reality and it showed tonight.

I personally think he can still beat Campbell if he focuses on boxing 100%. People can't act that doing both studying and training isn't a
problem. He is special but he is not that special.

Opinions on boxing and other SUBJECTS are different. When your so called opinion is to say someone is dumb that is no longer an opinion. At this point you are obviously passing judgement since you DON'T KNOW the guy. Ridiculing someone's accent and saying their grades are false is passing judgement. Pretty lame bro. Later.

Yes that's my advice. Because he has been on a rollercoaster disneyland fantasy ride and when everything went right, there was no problem. Great kid doing great things in and out of the ring.

Fine but now it's reality check, he just got beaten in his backyard in his own game. Nate Campbell did not outbox him, he beat at his own game.

Either he focuses on boxing or he focuses on lawschool......he clearly is not that special to do both for the next 4 years.

If he is a person who wants to learn and be the best at the profession he really wants then I agree, he should probably choose 1 thing, but I see most college students as people who sc**** by and learn very little but still get handed a degree and sent out into world. Also if he only fights 2 times a year he should be able to do both? He can schedule the fights around school. Hes been doing well untill now.

No servant can serve 2 masters at the same. He cannot give his heart to two services at the same time otherwise he'll fail. I'm a Pacquiao fan because of his great boxing but when he decided to run for congress I lost a bit of respect for him. Luckily for the fans he did lost in his bid and back to boxing business.
