They do that for athletes who play for the university and he doesn't fight for the school.

i'm sorry but this juan diaz does not even sound smart to me. maybe it's the ******ed mexican accent...which can make anyone sound foolish, but he doesn't come off as articulate.

If he has been able to handle school and boxing up to this point, then he should probably still do it. He just got beat by a good determined fighter that fought the fight of his life. I find it funny sometimes how after one loss some people act like that fighter is done or he needs to change his life up. Basically what it comes down to in the end is that Diaz got his ass kicked by Campbell on this one night.

I don't know if he isn't smart but he defintely isn't what they make him out to be. He talks like a mumbling idiot, can you imagine him campaigning for Mayor or governor and standing in front of large crowd talkig politics?

              I can't

You lost all credibility with me when you made this statement. Don't judge a book by it's cover.

While Diaz has the knowledge of making large sums of money if he works hard in the gym. Not discrediting his hard work but people who act as if he has it so hard are rediculous.

When they do pieces like that they are being compared to other fighters, they do that with every fighter, for diaz is school, other people is getting out of the ******, some are family issues and some are carring there countrys pride.

You're wrong about this. He does have it hard and that's why he needs to drop one or the other and focus on one thing 100%.

It's hard being a professional prize fighter as it is, you don't need distractions like going to law school (which is hard on it's own) while trying to compete with the best in boxing.

And that's why I'm glad he got beaten. Even though he might be smart kid capable of being a Mayor of Houston in the future he isn't special enough to do both at the same time
