No mate. The point is not 'Should the ref have stepped in a bit quicker and called the first knockdown?' The point is 'Are the UK Ref the worst in the world?' and I voted no because I thought that the stoppage was fair and the failure to call the first knockdown correctly was understandable and was fairly small potatoes in comparision to some of the other disgraceful refereeing scenes we've seen around the world over the years.

So again...do you want us to lie and say that we think that not making that split second decision quickly enough was the worst thing that I've ever seen from a boxing referee, just to agree with you two?

Because as far as I can tell so far, everyone who doesnt share your knee-jerk reaction is at best wrong and at worst ****** and doesnt know what they are talking about.

How many UK refs have you seen, Addy?

I wouldn't say they're great tbh, but I wouldn't say they were awful either. I mean, it's not like Haye KD'd Macca, it gets ruled as a slip and a point taken off Haye.

What's the particular issue here? That old fart was too slow breaking them up and calling a KD?

Nope. I just find that it comes up more regularly, with more authenticity behind more serious claims in many other countries.

And I didnt even need to shout it.

Primarily, yes. Failing to rule the first knockdown insured the fight would end prematurely, and insured Enzo would take needless damage, simultaneously.

It is a pretty serious responsibility and all..

                    Yes.

You're also doing a good job of ignoring the content of the posts of anyone who disagrees with your blinkered views.
