I did no such thing. Someone said he's welsh and not English, but i don't think anyone has said he's not British.

you british are all a bunch of insecure cry babies. you're all sensitive about every little thing. who cares if someone calls a welsh an english, same **** different smell. the US has 20 different cultures and lifestyles throughout. but they are still americans or 'YANKS' as you brits like to call them.
Just like if someone calls a Canadian an American, right kswizzy?

So an Englishman shouldn't mind being called Scottish, a scotsman english, a welshie northern irish? Is that what you're saying? The scots for example still dream about bannockburn and still sing about killing the english in their national anthem.
The Scottish National Anthem, Flower of Scotland, is about killing the English at Bannockburn. The Welsh national anthem is also about killing the English. Even God Save the Queen has an unofficial verse about killing the Scots. When it comes to the football or the rugby England is England and Scotland is Scotland. When it comes to science, technology and art we're happy to claim as British the likes of Alexander Graham Bell, George Bernard Shaw and the Stevensons, but the English ones are fully English (hello Newton, hello Shakespeare). If you're not from England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland you won't understand, but that's OK.

Further more.. If we asked them a bunch of random questions about the U.S. of A.
                  They wouldn't know squat!
I think you'd be surprised. Though we may not give the same answers you are used to hearing. The American version of history is a screwy one. For example who fought the British in the revolutionary war? The patriots, right? Patriots of what? You didn't have independence, so if you were patriots that would mean you fighting on the British side! Paul Revere shouted "The British are coming!". To the British people in the towns and villages, because you didn't yet have independence and so the people he was warning were British...

French Canadians in glass houses should throw stones!!!
kswiz is Quebecoise? Oh that is priceless.
