Pavlik proved the way to handle Miranda would be to put him on the back foot. He smothered most of miranda's shots.
Kessler on the other hand likes range. Miranda loves to wing his shots. Kessler would be in Miranda's power range. Can I see Miranda catching Kessler pulling back from one of his wild right hands? You bet your a$$ i do. Will Kessler take it? Maybe, but then again, maybe not.
To those who compared Pavlik's style with Kesslers, you could not be more off. Kessler is the classic boxer, Kelly is a pressure fighter with boxing skills.Comment

On another note. The only people who would not want to see this fight, are the ones who feel Miranda is too much of a wild card and can pull off an upset.
I think Kessler should win, but I am not 100% sure as he has never fought someone with Miranda's style before. Lets face it. Kessler's opponents were mainly standup fighters, while Miranda is a bull in a china cabinet.
I personally love this fight. Miranda deserves a shot. Kessler wants a fight over here. Miranda is marketable and ready. It all makes sense. Except to those who are such huge fans of Kessler and need to come up with excuses as to why kessler should not have to fight him. It kind of reminds me of Mayweather fans trying to justify why he should not fight Cotto. Fan investment and not wanting to see their man lose.Comment

ermm its kinda freakin obvious.....miranda is a super big puncher and kessler is a bit edgy and would rather an easier fight.....although with his skills he could definitly take edison to a comfy decisionComment
