    Being unbeaten at the end of your career in a sport where opponents are chosen rather than designated means that you have avoided challenging yourself.
    The consensus great fighters are not great because they lost but because they challenged someone who appeared to be as good if not better than them. When that fight was announced it was big news because it was going to be such a tough match-up.
    They went for the best and won their own reputation, win or lose the fight.

    Duran fought the bigger and incredible Leonard.
    Ali fought the monster Forman.
    Hearns fought the machine Hagler.

    These are All Time Greats.

    A zero has absolutely NO impact on a fighters claim to greatness. Only who and HOW they fought.
