Well I never said that bull**** that Cotto would be finished in 4-5 rounds(I thought Shane would win though). And no Lacy was overrated. And I could care less what crazy ass Roger said. The fight was like 7 years ago. I don't see the point in bringing that **** up as if Floyd is the exact same fighter from 2002.
Why i think based on style Cotto will beat Floyd

castillo should of got the ud by at least 2 points he pressured pbf all night, landed more punches except jabs maybe, was way more active that pbf and finished the fight with a clean face the same way he started it. if cotto pressures the same as castillo, cottos punches will be alot more affective than castillo.Comment

i think Roger knows how to score a fight better than u ,he happened to be in the corner and he clearly had a better view of the fight than yourself & he happens to be a top trainer aswell ,so i dare say he knows what he is talking aboutWell I never said that bull**** that Cotto would be finished in 4-5 rounds(I thought Shane would win though). yep thats it lets pretend it did'nt happen cause he was dominated in the rematch & the fight was way back in 2002 ,so ****in what its just proves he is not as unbeatable as people think & Castillo is no tremendously skilled boxerComment

2. Completely different weightclass
3. Floyd had a torn rotator cuff
4. He made adjustments and won the 2nd fight so if he encounters that again he'll know what to do
5. Cotto and Castillo are 2 different fighters. That was Floyd's first fight against someone who pressures. He knows them now 7YEARS LATER.
And I still don't give a **** what Roger said. Meldrick Taylor's trainer told him his fight with JCC was close goin into the 12th and it sure as hell wasn't. And we know how that turned out. Only reason people bring up this fight is to try and say Floyd has a loss. The only victory they can argue for.Comment

Cotto is open sometimes to the right hand uppercut IE Zab Judah but Cotto does not fight with his chin in the air since the Torres fight he tucks his chin down and looks at u through his eyebrows ,he has'nt take many Flush shots on the chin in recent fights because of thisExcept Cotto seems to be very open for the right hand counter and the right hand uppercut. I think Floyd will use that to win the fight. If Cotto backs up Mayweather up with the jab to the ropes, Cotto will (should) go to the body.
That however, leaves him wide open for the right hand uppercut or the right hand. When Mosley was outboxing Cotto and not trading he was winning. Even Quintana had 2 good boxing rounds against Cotto. Malinaggi had some sucess (even though Cotto is a lot better now) outboxing him.
Also, in the rematch with Oscar, Floyd will (hopefully) get used to the jab and will deal with it once he will get to Cotto. Floyd did a lot better in the rematch with Castillo and has learned to deal with agression better then ever. Floyd didn't have that much of a ring to work with against Oscar which is why I think he got bullied into the ropes so many times (though the jab did help a lot).
For me I'd have Mayweather countering Cotto/Pot shotting/ then throw combinations every here and there. That's going to be a lot more difficult if Cotto keeps that impressive speed he showed at the begining of the Mosley fight though.
So it might be close, but I can Mayweather winning 116-112 or 115-113.
Malignaggi did outbox Cotto and i thought that Cotto only won the fight in the last 2 rounds ,Cotto still won the fight & i believe he will beat Floyd & thats no being biased or hating i truly believe Cotto will beat himComment

always nice to discover who someones favourite fighter is by the biasedness of thier posting ,Talk about a list of excuses

Excuses or not it is all true. I'll be glad if Cotto supporters think the Castillo fight is the blueprint to beating Floyd. I'm sure Floyd doesn't mind either(something he's seen before). If Cotto wants to get his ass beat by 100 percent Floyd(see late rounds of Hatton) or Floyd can beat him barely breaking a sweat.Comment

Well whenever Shane was throwing that right upper it would land and his right was landing pretty good too.
And Castillo was not landing that flush as people make it out did to be, but he did a tremendous job in that fight, especially in the 12th. I had it 114-112 for Floyd. Round 3 ledderman gave that round to Castillo (idiot) by a weak flurry at the end that really didn't connect at all.
Round 8 (Castillo's point deduction) made it seem close by Castillo's good pressure, but Mayweather was landing some good shots and showing brilliant defense by making him miss.
Round 10 (Mayweather's point reduction) was Mayweather's round. It was probably his best in the fight and so it made it even.
Rounds 4, 6, 7, 11, 12 I scored for Castillo. (I think, let me recheck on that)Comment
