    Whitaker W Oscar Won EASY

Quartey W Anyone who thinks he lost that is just a oscar hater

Mayweather W Close but I guess its what style of fight you like.

Mosley 2 W He won that fight even while Mosley was on riods.

Trinidad L His running gave Trinidad a slight edge. He lost a razor thin decision.

Sterm L Oscar Should have never fought at middle, not to metion out of shape. Also till this day Sterm has proved he was a champion Middleweight. That was no easy fight.

Or people who watched the 12 rounds in full and saw how inactive Oscar was for most of the fight and did not win 6 rounds.

Was it close? Yes. I thought Oscar won 7 rounds and had one more Knockdown than Quartey. So you have to give Oscar a 10-8. He won on points, no doubt about it.

How on earth did Oscar win 7 rounds?

He was way too inactive for most of the fight.

The 6th round when both guys went down was a clear Quartey round, as Ike did the better work after the two KDs and controlled the action.

In the last round of the Quartey fight I thought the ref should have stopped the fight. Ike was not throwing back he was just helplessly barely waving his arms.

Oscar was missing most of his shots, although he landed some of them, most missed.

                Halpern did the right thing.

He was a solid ref. Too bad he had so many personal problems.

I respect your point of view but I don't agree with it. Quartey was definetly hurt and if Oscar would have landed one more solid shot it would have been lights out for Ike. I wouldn't argue if some people scored it a 10-8 round.

A hurt opponent is always one shot away from being lights out.

Quartey was certainly hurt, but Oscar was missing most of his shots. And Ike was firing back despite being badly hurt.

I thought the fight should have been stopped at 1:07 of the youtube video. The ref was on the verge of stopping you could see it but Ike waving his arms changed his mind, then after oscar punched himself out Quartey got his legs back. Overall I still gave the fight to Oscar last time I scored it. It was close though.
