im actually a Dela Hoya fan but i have to be objective here

i cant see how he beat Quartey i thought he looked beaten going into the latter part of the fight but he dusted himself down in the last 2/3 rounds to finish very strongly ,however i still thought Quartey had done enough to win as much as wanted Oscar to win

u have to respect the heart & courage Dela Hoya showed in this fight to come back & finish as strongly as he did ,if u watch the fight without scoring it u will probably think Dela Hoya won based on his strong finish but if u actuall score the fight & tot up the rounds Quartey won u will come to the conslusion that he had put more rounds in the bank than Oscar no matter how strongly Oscar finished

The Whitaker fight is hard to score, nonetheless I felt Oscar did enough. The Quartey fight I definitely think he lost. It's a shame because most people just look at the 12th round as the deciding factor when it wasnt. I had Quartey up 8-3 going into the last round.
