Yup, that makes you pretty damn ridiculous.
Mayweather could still have taken the decision and likely would have as he was in the better shape (owing to obvious factors) towards the end.

    I don't rate Mayweather's pitter-patter, you might but I don't.

Even if he did fix them there was also the constant splitting up issue. That was ridiculous too.

Face it, Cortez was beyond ridiculous in that fight. The worst reffing performance I have ever seen in any sport ever.

Lol, the pitter-patters that turned Hatton's head around more than once in the bout? Those? Yeah, Mayweather the feather duster wasn't doing any damage in the entire bout.

You are in a double bind my dear boy...

        Either:

        1. Floyd was doing enough damage to win the rounds (certainly more rounds than you gave him because Hatton's shots were "harder), which explains why Hatton gassed at the end.

        OR

        2. Floyd wasn't doing any damage until the KO, which means that Cortez played literally no role in the fight, because Floyd was able to KO him after being unable to hurt him at all at any point in the fight.

        Sorry sugartits, you lose.

You might want to watch Ottke-Reid, Duran-Moore, Williams-Jack, Coggi-Gonzalez I (Coggi actually was stopped or DQ'd in reality 3 times in this "victory" of his and got banned afterwards), or Gainer-Norwood.

Cortez has been poor for awhile.

He stood there and watched while Quartey almost killed Bojorquez, then decides to stop it with a minute left in the fight.

He also let Williams-Pakau go a round or two too long.

Watch Reid-Ottke, and quit ****ing saying things that end in "the _______ ever" because you have been wrong every time.

Jesus Thread Stealer, haven't you figured it out yet?!?

This fight was the most or worst of every single category that can possible be measured for a boxing match.

If both fighters fought dirty then fair enough but one of them wasn't even allowed to fight clean never mind dirty.
Mayweather was pretty good at being dirty.

In the the opening in particular -maybe as you say he saw he could get away with anything as the fight went on, but you can clearly see the following in the early rounds- he was very careful in the way he was holding Hatton (locking Ricky's arms to make it look like it was Hatton holding... Holding with the arm on the other side of the ref, assuming the ref was gonna blame Ricky... the way he used is elbows...)

I agree that Cortez was being a VERY bad ref, but mostly cos he was getting on Hatton all the time rather than because he was not getting on Mayweather.

I think your conjecture that Hatton would have won wiht a different ref is completely out of this universe

I wish there was film of the fight between Wolgast and Rivers.

I want to compare that fight where Welch actually picked up Wolgast and helped him up from a KD to compare that to the ref in Coggi-Gonzalez.

and splitting them up constantly? I think that was worse than letting Mayweather away with the cheating.

Hatton could've dealt with the cheating but what he couldn't deal with was the ref standing between them every 2 seconds in the early rounds.

I think your conjecture that Hatton would have won wiht a different ref is completely out of this universe
Probably because you haven't seen Ricky fight much. Watch his next couple of fights to see what he's capable of. He's going to tear through them
