If u fighting in close...u might get hit with an elbow. Especially with his style, he rolls punches... yall act as if he throws elbows for punches.

If he was elbowing people like crazy then why non of the fighters have ever been cut by his elbows. Not a single 1 has been cut by his flaring elbows.

Yall act as if he is getting outboxed and then he starts elbowing and punching his opponent in the balls to get back in the fight

The elbow comes from his shoulder defense. If you can't post your evidence then you should stop coming with new excuses.

Please show me one post where I ”act as if“. PLEASE

Does he uses his elbows? YES
In a legal way? SOMETIMES YES SOMETIMES NO
In a fight does that turn in a blow? YES
Do I blame Mayweather for this? NO, I HOLD HIM IN EVEN HIGHER REGARD, SEE MY 1ST POST IN THIS THREAD.

I never posted a video, I am not going to start doing that to please you. If you dont see it, well it just prove what we knew all along, that you are completely clueless about what happens in a ring.

I will repeat it for you, how is controlling your oppents position to alnd blows defense? I call it offense.

Floyd uses elbows to deflect blows, to switch sides on the inside and in clinches, and to move the other fighter. The first one is defense, second and third are inside fighting, fourth is offense and it is not legal.

You making it seem as if he is this dirty fighter who inflicts pain on his opponents with elbows for punches. when in fact if his opponent gets hit with a elbow is because they ran into it wehn trying to put together combinations. Wmute, he rolls punches...u can't roll punches with just your shoulder, your whole arm rolls with it. this is boxing and nothing he does really is illegal. now the pawing of the face and pushing Hatton face back and what not and some holding was roughhousing and Cortez warned him which was left out of that video. But Hatton was holding and hitting and weighing on him and holding aginst the ropes so he fought back with some rough and toughness and yall complaining, all u do is complain

                  • Most elite fighters know how to bend the rules to their advantage.

                    Floyd is no different.

Mayweather is not an exceptionally dirty fighter in the Saddler/Pedroza/Hopkins/Casamayor mold, but he knows how to be dirty to his advantage.

I did not even look at those videos, I assume they are all on Mayweather-Hatton. I know that Floyd moves his elbows while rolling with punches, but when he is up close he often uses them to control the other guy's head. I dont think those blows are particuarly significant (they certainly are not headbutts as someone tried to say earlier) otherwise we would see a lot fo cuts, but they are not legal either.

As I said, its boxing. Fouls are part of the game. Floyd is no Hopkins, but his bag of tricks includes a fair share of dirty stuff. I respect his skillset more because of that, I give him a better chance against all time greats in hypotethical matchups because of that. They are still fouls though.
