If someone thought they would stand in the middle of the ring last may and just brawl and trade punches like two madmen then in my opinion they dont know much about those two fighters.
Oscar vs. Floyd II wont be a brawl either. it will be another chess match...it will be floyd defensively boxing and oscar being the aggressor and giving mayweather different looks hoping to break down his A+ defense with his famous left hook.
it wont be a slug fest...it wont be williams/margarito with 100+ punches a round thrown...
i know what were getting and i like it.
I expect it to be a chess match with intense drama throughout the fight.
in their last fight i was extremely into it especially since it was very close and until the last couple of rounds when oscar began to lose steam for the first time in who knows how long mayweather looked as if he could be on his way to his first loss.
i havent been so anxious to hear the final decision in a long time.
i expect another close fight that comes down to possibly a split or majority decision.
dont expect knockouts or knockdowns/standing 8 counts...it wont happen...and in the Bay Area here on a radio station that covers the SF Giants (baseball) the host said he was unhappy because the lack of excitement...
HE knows very little about arguably two of the most popular/great fighters of their era...
i expect a good strategic BOXING match and so should everyone else.
no matter what they say in september the world will be watching...again...and if oscar won and it pushed a third fight...those same people would watch it...yet again.
so i dont listen most of the people complaining...they will be into it when the fight comes...i know i was...im already excited about the fight and its only feburary (basically march)...
