Most likely when he is getting closer to his next fight they will reappear. Not much to talk about with him right now really aside from the Witter discussion.

Where Are Ricky's Fans?

I see a new Hatton thread every day although it usually contains the "Witter" in the same sentence.
He's inactive at the moment, the board reflects this. His two rounds with the elephant could only generate a certain amount of threads.

Frankly, I get tired of seeing the same “Ricky Hatton sucks/No he doesn’t” threads over and over again, just like I do when they are about Mayweather. One or two are fine but after a while seeing the same subject matter multiple times just gets monotonous.
I realize that both Hatton and Mayweather are stars in the sport and thus will command more fan attention, be it positive or negative. But if they don’t have any immediate fights coming up do we really need several threads on them saying basically the same thing?

Funny so many said the first Oscar fight was SO close, but amazingly nobody wants to see it, funny how that works huh, fact is it wasnt close.
Yeah Rick lost but we drank your ****ty beer, sang in your streets and boo'd your anthem and stuck with the man when he lost. If Floyd lost none of you would still be around cos he wouldnt be POUND4POUNDZ FLASHY UNDAFEETED CREM DE LA CREM.
Hatton's fans still here and we'll show that when he next fights in the US cos we'll be there with him to boo your anthem again.

i think for REAL boxing fans they knew what they were getting...a strategic boxing match...not taylor/pavlik I...
maybe the casual fans thought so...
that was a good fight...
for me its in the top 3 of 07 for sure
REAL boxing fans should definitely know.. with Floyds style, and now facing one of the strongest fighters hes ever faced... this is not going to be a slugfest... it will be a boxing clinic...
I dont hear much about the ricky fans AT ALL.... If roy gets knocked into the year 3000, in his next fight... hes still my fav fighter, he ll still be my avatar.. and ill still discuss him... TRUE FAN.
