I thought Tyson said there was no chance of this fight happening, I hope it doesn't happen.

I'm suprised Mike never tried to get a rematch with Buster Douglas.

As for this fight, I hope for both of their sakes it doesn't happen. I know Evander doesn't need the money, hopefully Mike doesn't either.

This is crazy! These are two of my all time favorites, but I don't want to see this. But of course like a true die-hard Boxing fan, if it happens I will watch.

Mike tried to do better. Holyfield knocked Buster out in 3 rounds after Buster defeated Tyson.
Tyson was scheduled to face Holyfield, but got sent to prison.

sad thing is i'd be more interested in this fight than just about any other heavyweight fight.

I mean that Douglas was the one that sent Mike spiralling out of control, Buster was the one that gave Mike his first defeat, Buster was the one that cracked the invincibilty of Mike Tyson.

I think Mike might have been more succesful post prison, if he'd extinguished that demon once and for all.

Back to Holyfield though, the Buster that faced Evander was NOT the same Buster that Mike fought.

Don't know, you might be right.
I don't really think he cared about boxing after being sent to prison.

Mike should have killed Givens and be done with the demons before prison

Agree with Buster being a completely different person when he fought Holy.
He could have been a real contender had he continued what he was doing with Mike.
But how much of that fight that was down to Buster being good contra Mike being bad, I don't know. I must admit I haven't seen more than two fights from Buster.
                  I don't want to. Don't like him.
