Would Cotto do what Floyd is doing if he were P4P , I honestly dont think he would u can call it lack of buisness sense what ever but i think Cotto Ego & fighting heart would'nt allow him to duck legit challengers ,obviously he would fight some questionable oponents but i dont think he would hand pick fighters out of a lower divsion rather than face the ones in his own divsion or try & stage another borefest that nobody wants to see [Dela Hoya 2]

Maybe not go into WWE, but he would take a huge money fight over a #1 challenger anyday. Remember, Cotto wanted to fight De La Hoya too.

Oscar lost by a split decision and everybody acknowledges if he wouldve kept jabbing he wouldve won, so there is nothing wrong with a rematch in my eyes. In my opinion, Oscar would also KO Cotto if they fought today so I think Floyd is taking on the fighter out there that can cause him the most problems. If Cotto keeps winning, he will get his shot, but right now I dont think he would have too good of a chance.

I don't know, if the Mosley fight was a SD and he was a huge superstar I'm sure he'd take it again.

I don't think he would act like Floyd, but he would definietly pick big money fights over the #1 challenger stuff. Shane Mosley was talking about doing that stuff right before he lost to Vernon Forrest when he was #1.

I can easily see Cotto making easy money fights, especially with Arum as his promoter.

It's happening because there is more money, which is why fighters have chose the boxing profession. But, Oscar has more power, bigger body, better chin, and just as fast if not quicker than Cotto, so its not like Floyd is taking an easy fight by not fighting Cotto was my point.

Oscar isn't quicker then Cotto in this stage of the game. It might have just seemed like it because they were in such a damn small ring.

I think Cotto loses to Floyd, but if Cotto can keep up that speed that he showed in the early rounds of the Mosley fight, it's going to be a lot closer.

Cottocop can barely talk for his own fights I doubt he would be able to do half of the things may is.

i agree there would be money defences but no the kind of stuff Floyd has been pulling ,i think Cotto ego is to big to avoid certain challenges as was Mosleys ego to big to stay away from Winky

in all fairness i would'nt mind watching a Mosely v Cotto rematch cause it was entertaining & fairly close in the end
