Mayweather is an exceptionally talented fighter, hell he is undefeated! I do think that of late he has become complacent with his boxing career and might not have the determination and drive he did a few years ago. If that IS the case then he should let someone who IS serious about taking on ALL the best fighters in the division take the torch while he goes on to wrestle or promote or whatever. Keeping his ardent fans hanging on to watch him fight less than the best and still try to convince everyone he is still the dominant champion is not worthy of someone who has been labeled pound for pound the best fighter. If you are a professional boxer then you box and if you are the best then you fight the best. Leave no questions unanswered.

I do agree with pretty much the hole argument. The only thing is that Mayweather should no\t be consider the #1 P4P. A P4P shoul some who has dominate a couple of divisions at least. and he don't even fight welterweights so you know he should be like #4P4P

The problem is, some fans get to involved with Floyd's personal life. They become more concerned with how much money he can make, rather than just being a fan of his, and the sport. These fighters have laywers, accountants, advisors, etc. Its thier job to make sure that these boxers are making all the right moves. Our jobs as fans are to just sit back and enjoy the show.......or not.

I love how they regularly refer to Jeff and Roger Mayweather as " Uncle Jeff" or "Uncle Roger" LMAO

All jokes aside, i think that most of his fans close thier eyes at night, and fantisize about actually being Floyd. Why else would another man care so much about another mans finances, or cars he drives, or "flashy" lifestyle? Some of these posters get a little too caught up! LOL.

You know why we tend to clash? You sound like a hypocrite, but it seems to happen only when it comes to Floyd. It's two sides of a coin, there is the "stan" that very well my fantAsize about Floyd and than there are the users like you, who don't realize they talk about Floyd just as much if not more than the "stans".

Pointing out facts about the man, and praising him to the point where u would bow at his feet if u were to ever meet him, are two totally different things. I usually clash with Floydboyz because they dont like to hear reason. In thier eyes, everything he does is great, and he can do no wrong.

There is a difference between pointing out facts and continuously and repetitively making threads about the SAME THING. That's when it becomes fanatical, which is EXACTLY what you do. You clash with ME because you tend to say the same thing over and over again, as if you are making some kind of profound revelation when in fact you make yourself look like a child.

Yeah that is a good point, I do think there is still hope Floyd will fight Cotto, so I want him to stick around.
