Perfect analysis of Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Read this at another website, and felt the poster was spot on! Hard not to agree with what he said.

Mayweather is an exceptionally talented fighter, hell he is undefeated! I do think that of late he has become complacent with his boxing career and might not have the determination and drive he did a few years ago. If that IS the case then he should let someone who IS serious about taking on ALL the best fighters in the division take the torch while he goes on to wrestle or promote or whatever. Keeping his ardent fans hanging on to watch him fight less than the best and still try to convince everyone he is still the dominant champion is not worthy of someone who has been labeled pound for pound the best fighter. If you are a professional boxer then you box and if you are the best then you fight the best. Leave no questions unanswered.

Roy Jones was NEVER the Heavyweight World Champion.
He held a Heavy weight Trinket but at the time Lennox Lewis was the Recognised Undisputed Champion.
              Now that's Ree****yaluss!

are you seriously gonna start on me again?

the word "THE" heavyweight world champion ISNT in my sig...

The word "Undisputed" isnt in my SIG either...

WBA heavyweight title = World heavyweight Champion

I guess Michael Buffer gets it wrong everytime he says it...

                  Well I appreciate it...

I love floyd for his skills, and his abilities... I think were seeing one of the POTENTIALLY best fighters to ever come along

I dont so much like the fact that he ISNT fighting the top welters... and it will damage his legacy to an extent if he doesnt do so...

I dissagree with the analysis because it's unfair to label someone as not hungry anymore because he has other endevours. Mayweather is the best because he's the pound4pound champ and he hasn't lost.

The biggest misconcepcion is that a fighter is "running" from another fighter and I don't see Mayweather as running. I think he's at a point in his career that he has the liberty of setting up the fight's he wants, how he wants them. Much like DLH and he's earned that right.

If he retires and doesn't fight any of the big names then I would agree but we don't know where he is going in the future after the DLH fight and I'm sure a big fight with him and Cotto or Margarito is looming out there.

I respect the person's opinion but in reality it's based on more an opinon than really knowing what's going on in Mayweather's head.
