I think Mayweather could find some success but would struggle a lot at MW and the only way he wins is by UD, no if's, and's, or but's about it.....and believe that chin will be tested. I garauntee we would see a legitimate knock down if not knockout handed to Floyd.
You forgot Bernard Hopkins, the living legend. He used to enjoy beating on welterweights.

Surely "this guy did it, so he can do it" is using the same principle as saying "well this guy didnt do good, so he wont"

Not having a go, you are one of the most intelligent Floyd fans on these forums, but try and be consistent

of you ****in owned me... i hate u...

both my statements do make sense in and of themselves.. but yes they are somewhat contradictory

I guess what I was tryin to say was... what oscar and floyd do in the ring is completely different...

and the roy coming from jr middle is saying.. the smaller man can move up and win...

I did. I think that is the one and only time I would ever root for Bernard Hopkins but even still it's a tough call. I can't decide whose the bigger **** that needs to eat his words. I'm mainly interested in seeing how Mayweather handles defeat. I think Hopkins and his dirty ass tactics could achieve that. Injury to insult.

Men this a jke! Floyd a Middleweght? He barelymade 150 to fight oscar for the superwelterweight title. ow you expect him to make the weight for a middleweght fight. Naah! hw would never win a MW Title on less is a fix fight. He's to small for the weight, he could get seiously hurt y anyone in the MW division.

I for one think he WILL eventually fight cotto... with that said...

Ive ALWAYS thought that if Floyd really wanted to, he could box his way to a middleweight championship victory... at the RIGHT time..

not necessarily against Pavlik... but maybe down the line... im talkin possibly 4 - 5 years from now... when the right guy has the belt...

I see him doing it, He has the boxing ability to, to outbox someone even at 160... obviously he would NEVER have the power to do any harm, and if he DID get caught it would be problems... But I still see him having the ability to outbox for the MW Title...... SOMEDAY...

              Ala Roy vs Ruiz
Floyd aint no Roy man, any verison of Roy would KO floyd.

sturm is a decent option to get a paper title and then move right back down.

Plane and simple. Floyd won't win a middleweight title. he is to small. He almost didn't make the weight for the Oscar fight. He can seriously get hurt at Middleweight. And anyways he ain't going pass Cotto!
