So why is Collazo's loss to a guy who cant beat anyone at 147 a good thing? He didnt even put up a fight against Moesely. Quintana was never a top WW until just now with a win over an over rated PW. Not saying PW isnt good, but he just peaked at the right time vs Marg and Marg had an off night. but i'll give you quintana just out of respect.
collazo was off balance because hatton was holding his head down

When Cotto beat Zab he was coming off a loss to the best p4p boxer in the world and looked pretty good early on. When Floyd fought Judah he was JUST beatin by a 16 to 1 journeyman underdog and did the chicken dance part deux. just shut it.

I like Mayweather but Cotto is willing to fight everyone that he ducks. Mosley, Margarito, ect. Cotto is not worried about getting an L on his record ulike Mayweather. Mayweather picks and choose opponents that he knows he can beat while not fighting any threats. Was Hatton a threat? Nope, blown up in weight and the naturally smaller man. Maywether pretty much owned him from start to finish. Was Boldimir a threat? Nope. An average fighter that upset an over confident Judah and beat a shot Arturo Gatti. Was De La Hoya a threat? Nope, he was about 5 years past his true prime. Despite that, Oscar was still a good fighter and i give Mayweather a lot of Credit for going up in weight and fighting a naturally bigger man. Was Judah a threat? Nope, Spinks and Boldimir had already completely exposed him.

When Mayweather does not what the greats like sweat pea, Leonard, Hearns ect did and beat up and comers and unifying the division , then he will be recognized as one of the baddest welterweights of all time. Until then, he should be willing to fight fighters like Berto, Clottey, Margarito, ect. Real threats that would give him an actual fight. To be honest, even if Mayweather lost to any of these fighters, he would get more respect than he is now because he would be taking chances.

even Boxingscene had Mayweather by a majority.
