Pacquiao-Larios in November

I agree with you. Guzman is a serious threat without the benefit of a high $$$ reward yet. It'll be good if he could clean up his weight class first then move up and challenge Pacquiao. It's interesting to note that Guzman actually challenged both Larios and Vasquez for megabuck showdowns and even hyped himself up as the "Mexican Assasin", he was just ignored though. Anyway a Pac-Guzman fight in the future would be interesting, who's the bigger puncher?

But Larios and Vasquez are I think aching for far bigger deals than a meeting with Guzman can offer. If Larios is to meet Nadel before he meets Pac, he'd better be careful that Hussein doesn't give him permanent damage. Hussein is notorious! It'll be foolish for any fighter to fight Nedal Hussein, this guy is one of the dirtiest fighters I've seen. He throws so many low blows and headbutts his opponents. I wonder why is Larios' camp is so eager to match Chololo against this guy when the risk of damaging their fighter is very high? What do they think they can get out of this match? I wonder if Boxlatino's tipster is credible though.

Hussein gave Manny a hell of a fight with those low blows and headbutts. This fight showed Manny's maturity in the ring by maintaining his cool and focus and was rewarded by a TKO later in the fight (10th round I think).

Nadel stopped all his opponents lately while Larios wasn't really impressive in his last 3 fights. I reckon Hussein KO's Larios or Larios wins by boxing.

Yup, Hussein and Agapito Sanchez are two of those who really put Manny's maturity to severe tests.

...and Hussein's a strong fighter, he was able to withstand Pac's assault and even slipped in his short jab-like left hand that KD'd the PacMan. Pac got up after that controversial long count by the ref and proceeded to tear the Aussie's face into shreds.

Alvarez was 19-13 going into the fight and had been beaten before by Larios at jr. feather but Chololo wasn't able to put him away that time. Larios' last two other featherweight fights (127 with Jesus Perez in Ft. Worth and Maros Licona in LA) were reported to be way short of what Larios would point to as highwatermarks in his career. Lizcona he met (non-title) between winning the WBC Superbantam title vs. Jorrin and defending it against Shigeru Nakazato in Japan during his first of two encounters with the Japanese fighter. It seems to me that Larios has had only one TKO in his last 6 fights? Taht one in Nagoya vs. Ishi (TKO2)? That's why I still see him as a jr. feather; he hasn't shown much as feather, I think, although one must not discount a former champion who has lost only thrice his his career in over 50 fights.

Yeah, Larios has been a good champ and has gone through a lot of wars, his experience will always guide him. Hey, have you seen his fight against Nakazato? Man, i thought he's gonna eclipse Mantecas Medina's record in most punches thrown in a fight, if I'm not mistaken it stands at around 122 ppr set against that fight with Mi Vida Loca Tapia. The samurai warrior just ate them like sushi and kept asking for more I dunno if those were just powderpuff punches or the Jap was simply made of granite. Larios actually was on rubbery legs in the 5th & 6th rounds after Nakazato slipped some of his few counters, now that reminds me of his chin again.
