Wladimir absolutely knows how to fight. He's one of the more polished executors in the whole sport.

Regarding killer instinct that can be more of a subjective issue. A 100lb. female can have killer instinct. There's no doubt in my mind that Kltchsko has killer instinct. It's just more the sort where he'll try to dagger you with a quick move than call you out into the town square and draw pistols with you.

look, i agree he is an exciting heavyweight, u can't judge him by 1 fight.
I just bash him, because some of his fans on here really give me the ****s.
i really hate it when they over rate their fighter so much, you start to hate the fighter himself, because of his fans.

The problem is that Steward gives him these tactics to hold, to slap the opponents jab away with his forearm, dont get unbalanced etc. but Wlad follows those instructions without adding anything to them, he doesnt have the instinct to fight so those tactics become all that he does and when the opening appears he is tentative to take it, he is too intelligent to box, he thinks too much rather than having an instinct, a feel, a rhythm. He lacks imagination so robotically performs without soul, unable to use any iniative.

he's a dip**** in the ring, but i agree with you that wlad is generally a great finisher when his opponent is in bad shape.
Wlad's job was to win... nothing else.. sorry you feel dissapointed.. but he went out did his job..

This is so true but so over looked. He does have the advantages of size but he uses them very well. He shut out Chris Byrd and whooped him the second time. No one else had done that.
He has never been outboxed by anyone. He isn`t the most concussive of punchers as in the mould of Tyson or Lewis but he has KO power.
I`ve always said it, if Klitscko had the chin and staminia of Evander Holyfield he`d be unstoppable...but then he wouldn`t be Wlad Klitscko would he..
