Where do you place Castillo compared to other Mexicans since 1990?

Chavez was 68 - 0 when he fought taylor, that fight was pretty life and death.

Plus his fights against Juan Laporte and Rocky Lockridge were no walks in the park.

I guess I stand corrected. I didn't think there were quite so many fights in between Taylor and Whitaker.

I'm not overly knowledgable on Mexican fighters to be honest (it's probably not that hard to tell), so I am not deep on Zaragoza's career at all. I boxrec'd him, and saw that he had some ups and downs (ups like beating Carlos Zarate and downs like losing to a very green Jeff Fenech), but boxrec is a ****ty way to get your information on a fighter, so if you don't mind, can someone give me a little rundown on the good and bad parts of Daniel Zaragoza's career?
Zaragoza was a crafty fighter who knew how to win, but there is no way I could rate him in the top 10 Mexicans since 1990. The Zarate he beat was ancient, even older than listed. To me he was an overachiever, and having him ahead of the Marquez brothers, Castillo, or Vazquez IMO is insane.

I edited my list as I just remembered Finito Lopez.
I would put Finito over Morales and Marquez over Zaragoza.

People say Chavez only fought Bums, but the crazy thing is he was 43 - 0 when he won his first title, and he was 89-0-1 when he lost his first fight. So that means he fought 45 fights without a loss, from winning his first title.

You can't knock him as a performer, but Lopez wasn't tested to nearly the degree that Chavez was. He stayed in a safe zone for him his entire career instead of seeking bigger challenges.

most fighters who fight bums don't have a record like 43-0 or 89 0 - 1, even agianst soft opposition it's damn near impossible to be undefeated. Chavez gets my respect, he's got a record like the old time fighters, like SRR and harry greb
