I don't see the big deal tbh, this happens alot in international sport, especially football. The US football team should try playing in Macedonia or Turkey and show you what real hostility is, they were burning English flags and in Turkey they had a banner saying "WELCOME TO HELL". Also i think you have to be a bit sensitive to get worked up over the booing of a song.

About a month or two ago I was at a Blackhawks game and this big black dude sang the Star Spangled Banner with such pride and conviction that everyone in the arena was going ape****. Hands down the best i've ever heard it. I wish that guy could sing that **** everyday before I left my house man. I'd be eating my Wheaties with my head held high and ****....amazingComment

Stop bein a bunch of ******* about it.
plus the fact, as stated before, we probably was booin mayweather cos he was on the big screen,
we're a country (England that is) built on pride no matter where we come. We support of ahtletes even if theyre losing!
WHERE AS... USA is built on winning and constantly refer themselves as a superpower and the best country in the world and only 1st place is acceptable.
Now which is more noble?
(England.. nuff said)
havin said all that **** about pride, we backed Hatton after his loss and we want him to go on and fight again. However just how many of u glory huntin yanks wouldve backed Mayweather if Hatton had destroyed him ?
now im not disrespectin ur country im just questionin ur system and standards.
Stop makin the UK out to be the bad guys over this ****.
anyways im off to make a cuppa.Comment
